ONBOX developed the brand identity, positioning strategy, and website for Hamilton Capital Partners, an independent investment advisory firm. The brand is built around a single strategic idea — Own The Unknown — positioning the firm as a guide through uncertainty rather than a protector from it. The identity uses bold typography, dramatic scale shifts, and a restrained colour palette to create a decisive, sophisticated, and distinctly modern presence.

Opportunity appears in moments others hesitate. The brand embraces that truth. Rather than positioning Hamilton as a protector from the unknown, it positions the firm as a guide through it. This idea became the foundation of the brand’s voice and expression: Own The Unknown.

Bold typography anchors the identity, giving weight and clarity to the firm’s voice. Dramatic shifts in scale create hierarchy and focus, while a restrained but striking colour palette introduces moments of emphasis and contrast. The wordmark itself is clean, balanced, and timeless.

Rich textures, refined finishes, and carefully selected materials reinforce the brand’s sense of permanence and trust. The system lends itself naturally to tactile applications such as embossed stationery, engraved signage, architectural metalwork, and large-scale environmental graphics.

These materials extend the identity into physical space, creating an experience that feels as considered and enduring as the firm itself.

Cipher Digital is a publicly traded company that builds and operates high-density data centers for the world's largest organisations. As the company rapidly evolved into a global leader in hyperscale infrastructure, ONBOX delivered a strategic design refresh built to match their ambition.

Cipher Mining was at a crossroads. Driven by the breakneck pace of AI adoption, what began as a Bitcoin mining company had quickly become a trusted partner for global enterprises with Gigawatt-scale computing needs. But the brand still reflected an earlier chapter in both look and spirit.

During our initial discovery process, one theme became clear: while others were still playing cowboy on the crypto frontier, Cipher Mining was operating with an obsessive focus on precision and excellence. They were already

The evolution in vision extended to the name itself. Enter, Cipher Digital. Broader cleaner, and built for where the company is headed rather than where it started. 

With a sharper name and an expansive new positioning statement in place, we set out to design a brand that could live up to both.

The visual language draws inspiration from the construction sites themselves.  Rising like monoliths in the desert, the buildings are monumental in scale, precise in execution, and brutalist in spirit. Strong lines, unadorned surfaces, and the quiet drama of light and shadow amongst hallowed halls formed the conceptual foundation for a clean and functional layout.

To further ground a brand that lives in the abstract world of "the cloud," we built additional brand assets around a focus on real-world materials. Polished stone and brushed metal give the intangible a physical weight, while still allowing some room for more interpretive animations.
