Open Position

Project Manager

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Project Manager to own how our work gets done. Someone who can manage most of the studio's client projects, raise the bar on how we care for our clients, and give the team a clear view of what needs to happen next.

Every project has a clear plan. Every client knows what's happening before they ask. The team knows exactly what's next. That's your idea of a good day.

You genuinely enjoy bringing order to moving parts and helping people do their best work together. You listen, ask good questions, and build processes that make everyone's day easier. You're curious about how a creative studio can work better, always looking to get better at what you do, and interested in using AI and automation to make practical improvements across the business.

You'll take brand identities, websites and digital products from signed scope to final delivery. You'll be the person clients trust on timelines, the person designers and developers rely on to keep things clear, and the person who knows whether a project is on budget.

You'll also own our day-to-day project systems and weekly delivery rhythm. If you see a problem we keep fixing by hand, we want you to turn it into a process.

This is a full-time role.

Your initial focus will be excellent project delivery and the systems that support it. As you grow in the role, there's room to take broader ownership of studio operations, including resourcing, tools, and business performance. We'll support your development, with your title and compensation growing alongside your responsibilities.

The Role

Project Delivery

  • Run client projects end to end across brand and digital: kickoff, planning, production, review and delivery
  • Build realistic timelines and keep them honest as things change
  • Keep work moving between design, development, strategy and outside partners

Client Care

Great work isn't enough. How clients feel working with us matters just as much, and we want you to raise the bar on it.

  • Be the client's main point of contact on delivery, with clear updates and no surprises
  • Make every client feel looked after, from the first kickoff to the final handover
  • Anticipate what clients need before they ask, and follow up before they have to chase us
  • Run kickoffs, check-ins and approval rounds so decisions get made on time
  • Deliver hard news early, and come with a plan when you do
  • Close out every project well, gather feedback, and turn it into how we work next time

Scope, Budget & Resourcing

  • Build scopes and estimates with our founders and creative leads, making deliverables, assumptions and timelines clear
  • Track hours and budget against plan, and flag risk before it becomes a loss
  • Catch scope creep early, make the impact clear, and agree changes before additional work begins
  • Plan who's working on what each week so the team is busy but not buried

Studio Operations & Systems

  • Own our project system in Notion: keep it clean, keep the team in it, and improve it as we grow
  • Run the studio's delivery rhythm: weekly planning, resourcing and internal reviews
  • Turn repeated work into templates and processes the whole team can use
  • Spot opportunities to improve how the studio works, test AI tools and automation, and help the team adopt what works. Start with recurring admin and project workflows, then build on what you learn.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with our Creative Director to protect the quality of the work
  • Partner with designers and developers so they can focus on the craft
  • Bring in and manage freelancers and outside partners when a project needs them
  • Bring structure without slowing anyone down

What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years managing brand and digital projects at a studio or agency, alongside designers, developers and external contractors
  • An appreciation for strong design. You care about the quality of the work as well as when it ships
  • A track record of running several projects at once
  • Experience with scopes, estimates, budgets and time tracking
  • Experience building and maintaining project workflows in Notion, and confidence working with Figma and Slack
  • You use AI tools to work faster and cleaner: meeting notes, status updates, documentation, first drafts. You don't need to build with it. You need to use it well, and know when not to
  • A genuine instinct for client care. Clients have trusted you, stayed with you, and come back
  • Clear writing and calm, direct client communication
  • The ability to tell a client their feedback is late and tell a designer their deadline moved, in the same afternoon
  • Nice to have: experience with resourcing tools like Float or Harvest, and managing retainer clients
