The Role

ONBOX is a design studio based in Vancouver, Canada. We partner with ambitious founders and teams to build impactful identities, launch engaging websites, and create innovative products. Our clients include billion-dollar companies, iconic public figures, and e-commerce pioneers.

This role is for a Designer with exceptional taste and strong digital instincts, someone who can design an identity system and translate it into an interactive, high-end website experience.

You’ll join a small team, work directly with senior leadership, and have real ownership over outcomes. We move quickly, share ideas early, and care deeply about craft.

Key Responsibilities

Lead visual exploration from early concepts through to final systems
Design premium brand identities (typography, layout, color, art direction, systems)
Design modern websites and digital experiences (IA, UX, UI, components)
Maintain a high bar for craft across every deliverable
Present work internally and to clients with clarity and confidence
Collaborate closely with strategy + development to ship work that feels intentional
Use modern tools (including AI) to explore faster, iterate smarter, and push creative output

What We’re Looking For

5+ years experience in brand and/or digital design
Proven ability to design full identity systems (not just logos)
Strong portfolio showing high-end web/digital experience work
An eye for motion and interaction design
Excellent typography, layout, and visual decision-making
Comfort making high-impact decisions quickly, and standing behind them
Strong presentation and communication skills
Curiosity for modern workflows, tools, and AI-assisted design processes
High ownership, reliability, and attention to detail

Bonus points if you:

Have experience with Framer / Webflow
And art direct motion / interaction
Have worked in a small senior-led studio environment
